KROC CONFERENCE FAQ

  • Registration includes access to conference sessions, workshops, networking opportunities, and the meals listed below. 

  • No. Workshop pre-registration is not required. 

  • Yes! You can attend any workshop in any track. Choose the sessions that are most relevant to you and your Kroc Center.​

  • General Conference: Staff dress is business casual or Kroc logoed attire, and Officers should wear fatigues. We recommend comfortable shoes and bringing a light layer for air-conditioned meeting spaces.
     
    Awards Gala: Kroc staff should wear elevated business casual attire, and Officers should wear fatigues.

  • The following meals are included: 

    • October 13: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner 

    • October 14: Breakfast and dinner 

    • October 15: Breakfast 

  • No. Lunch on October 14 is on your own. Take the opportunity to explore Scottsdale and enjoy one of the many local restaurants. 

  • Please make sure your dietary restrictions or food allergies are included with your registration. If your needs have changed, please email krocwest@usw.salvationarmy.org as soon as possible. 

  • No. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), The Scott, and The Phoenix Kroc Center. Rideshare services, taxis, rental cars, and other transportation options are available. Please plan accordingly when making your travel arrangements. 

  • Yes. Complimentary onsite self-parking is available at The Scott. 

  • Please email krocwest@usw.salvationarmy.org for assistance with registration changes, cancellations, or transferring your registration to another staff member. 

  • We are committed to making the Kroc Conference accessible and welcoming to all attendees. If you require an accommodation, please email krocwest@usw.salvationarmy.org as early as possible. 

  • Absolutely! Networking is an important part of the Kroc Conference. You'll have opportunities to connect with Kroc staff from across the country through workshops, meals, social events, and informal gatherings. 

  • Scottsdale offers a wide variety of restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities, and attractions. Explore the area and make the most of your time in Arizona! Learn more >
